25.ACC 32

New ACC Funding for Acupuncture Treatments:

  1. Maximum of 12 treatments to be given within a 12-week period.
  2. The 12 week period begins on the first day the client has received acupuncture treatment.

ACC32 Policy:
If you contact ACC, ACC will often ask you to apply for ACC32. Because as a customer, ACC will not refuse your request. But if the date of injury has been more than one year, even if the ACC case manager asks you to apply for ACC32, it will often be rejected in most cases.

1.It will take approximately 1 hour to prepare the paperwork and complete the online application for the ACC32 form.
2.The application fee is $85, and it is non-refundable regardless of whether the application is approved or not.
3.The success rate for ACC32 applications in our clinic is about 5%. The ACC typically approves cases where surgery is deemed necessary.
4.The approval process for the ACC32 application usually takes 2 weeks to 3 months. During this time, we will charge $70 per session before the application is approved. If your ACC32 application is approved, we will refund $45 per session from the amount of your treatment fee. However, if it is not approved, the fee is non-refundable.
5.For other options, if your ACC injury occurred within 1 year from the date of your injury, you can seek further treatment from physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, or podiatrists.
6.If you have a new injury, you will need to lodge a new ACC claim for treatment.
